Myers Briggs Type Indicator:  Discovering Personalities & Implications for Learning

Whether you design, deliver, manage or organize learning interventions, you know that you must meet the needs of multiple learning styles to ensure a successful program!

One of the most well known and respected personality type indicators is the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI).  In this highly interactive luncheon program, we will explore our personality preferences, and those of our learners.  We will discuss how individual personality preferences impact a learner’s style, and how developers and facilitators of learning can build programs and activities to meet the needs of multiple learning preferences.

Come to the program with your MBTI preference if you know it!  We won’t administer the MBTI instrument in the program, but will provide information to help you self assess.

SPEAKER/PRESENTER

Speaker/Presenter Denise Wilson has been a leader in the field of workplace learning and performance for over 16 years.  She is passionate about organizational learning, particularly about blending new and existing approaches to meet learning needs and improve results.  In 2007 she earned her Certificate in Human Performance Improvement from ASTD.
As Director of Corporate Development for Capital City Bank, Denise envisioned and developed the training department from concept to completion.  Her drive for excellence, and her gift for innovation resulted in the achievement of corporate university status in 2009.  Denise is an active United Way volunteer, and serves on the boards of Children’s Home Society and KEYS (Keys to Exceptional Youth Success.)  She is married with two children, and is a tireless advocate for children’s issues, particularly children with special needs.  Denise is MBTI Certified and past President of ASTD Tallahassee.
